During the Spanish Civil War, it was used by the Republican side as a shelter for children arriving from various parts of Spain
After the Civil War, it underwent a significant renovation that transformed it into the stately home that has survived to this day. The inauguration of the remodeled house took place on September 20, 1947, coinciding with the wedding of one of the daughters of its then-owner, Don Diego Ferrández Ripoll. That was 75 years ago...
